Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleeps

So, the learning process with the new camera continues.  I'm not super pleased with how the shots from this show turned out, but I do love how Caroline's hair looks molten pink.

Granted, it turned out that way because I still haven't got my settings right, but I'm still going to take what I can get.

Taking concert photos is hard, folks.  Don't let anyone tell you different.  The people who get paid for this definitely deserve it.

The Sudden Lovelys

Sorry for the long break, guys - things got busy.  And I'd finally had it trying to make concert photos with a point and shoot camera (regardless of how awesome a point and shoot it was).

But...those days are done.  I'm still working on figuring out exactly how to take incredible (or, you know, passable) photos.  However, last Friday night, I was able to take my first concerts shots with the new camera at the Sudden Lovelys show - perfect, because they are currently rocking my socks off on an almost daily basis.
